Pet Training Guides

Make them Behave

Training is actually not hard. You have to be patient with your dog and reward it accordingly when it has done the command corectly. It is also the best time to bond with your dog. I train my dog myself the basics and is slowly moving on to other things like fetch and simple agility.

If you are interested to have your dog learn the basics or tackle some minor misbehaviors like mouthing or barking at other dogs, I am more than willing to help with a small fee of $30/session of 1 hour. I will start with a 15-30min walk then move on to the training.

Food is a very good motivator for dogs as they are greedy animals that eat almost anything. You can encourage positive behaviors with a treat when they have done it correctly. It will leave a good impression and they will remember that command and relate it to the treat.

Do's and Don'ts

Food that They DON'T Need

Healthy Recipes for Pets

* Never feed your dog cooked chiken or duck bones! It is a misbielief that dogs eats bones but bones are actually dangerous to dogs. Bones might choke, break your dog's teeth or cut their mouth.

* STRICKLY NO CHOCOLATES! The cocoa contains a a chemical compound that is poisonous to dogs and will cause vomiting, diarrhea and even death.

*Nuts and seeds contains cynide that is toxic to dogs and will cause your dog to vomit. The pits may get stuck in the intestines and a trip to the vet is must go.

* Reward your dog when it has done something right.

* DO NOT allow the dog to walk infront of the walker. The alpha leads, the walker is the alpha. Allowing the dog to lead is like allowing it to do whatever it wants, being dominant.

*DO NOT allow dogs to play roughly with people. Mouthing is a big No no.

Health and happiness

* Not too much salt in their food if you want to make homecooked meals for your doggies.

* No human leftovers or humn food.

* Give them enough exercise so they do not get overweight to reduce the chances of diseases.

* Spend time with your doggies and don't leave them unattended for too long, bored dogs will start destorying things and lonely dogs will have unwanted behaviors like excessive barking. Dogs are pack animals, they are the same as humans. They need to socialize from young so that they will not be dog aggressive in future.
